'Worlds Within' is a musical journey through selected Bahá'í Writings.
It's been an absolute joy and privilege collaborating with the brilliant Kelly Snook. Also so grateful for the amazing contributions of Caeli Lohr, the beautiful voices of Roya Diehl and Melanie Aiff, and the wonderful John Sampson for meeting me at the finish line!

O SON OF MAN! Thou dost wish for gold and I desire thy freedom from it. Thou thinkest thyself rich in its possession, and I recognize thy wealth in thy sanctity therefrom. By My life! This is My knowledge, and that is thy fancy; how can My way accord with thine?
O SON OF BEING! Busy not thyself with this world, for with fire We test the gold, and with gold We test Our servants.
From The Hidden Words of Bahá’u’lláh, Arabic #56 & #55
Track Name: Cast Out
O MY FRIEND IN WORD! Ponder awhile. Hast thou ever heard that friend and foe T should abide in one heart? Cast out then the stranger, that the Friend may enter His home.
From The Hidden Words of Bahá’u’lláh, Persian #26
Track Name: Sea Of Light
He hath abandoned this mortal life and hath flown to the kingdom of immortality, yearning for the favor of meeting Thee.
O Lord, glorify his station, shelter him under the pavilion of Thy supreme mercy, cause him to enter Thy glorious paradise, and perpetuate his existence in Thine exalted rose garden, that he may plunge into the sea of light in the world of mysteries.
From Selections of the Writings of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, 165
Track Name: Unbroken Line
How good it is if the friends be as close as sheaves of light, if they stand together side by side in a firm unbroken line... Let all be set free from the multiple identities that were born of passion and desire, and in the oneness of their love for God find a new way of life.
...at every moment long ye for non- existence; for when the ray returneth to the sun, it is wiped out, and when the drop cometh to the sea, it vanisheth, and when the true lover findeth his Beloved, he yieldeth up his soul.
From Selections of the Writings of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, 36 (translation as per ‘Eternal Soul’ 2009 Intellect Books)
Track Name: Ink
O SON OF MAN! Write all that We have revealed unto thee with the ink of light upon the tablet of thy spirit. Should this not be in thy power, then make thine ink of the essence of thy heart. If this thou canst not do, then write with that crimson ink that hath been shed in My path. Sweeter indeed is this to Me than all else, that its light may endure for ever.
From The Hidden Words of Bahá’u’lláh, Arabic #71
Track Name: Midnight
O Lord, I have turned my face unto Thy kingdom of oneness and am immersed in the sea of Thy mercy. O Lord, enlighten my sight by beholding Thy lights in this dark night, and make me happy by the wine of Thy love in this wonderful age. O Lord, make me hear Thy call, and open before my face the doors of Thy heaven, so that I may see the light of Thy glory and become attracted to Thy beauty. Verily, Thou art the Giver, the Generous, the Merciful, the Forgiving.
From Bahá'í Prayers by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá
Track Name: Ark Of Fire
For were they to reach the ultimate object of their quest for God and their attainment unto Him, they would have but reached that abode which hath been raised up within their own hearts.
How then could they ever hope to ascend unto such realms as have not been ordained for them or created for their station? Nay, though they journey from everlasting to everlasting, they will never attain unto Him Who is the midmost Heart of existence and the Axis of the entire creation, He on Whose right hand flow the seas of grandeur, on Whose left stream the rivers of might, and Whose court none can ever hope to reach, how much less His very abode!
For He dwelleth in the ark of fire, speedeth, in the sphere of fire, through the ocean of fire, and moveth within the atmosphere of fire. How can he who hath been fashioned of contrary elements ever enter or even approach this fire? Were he to do so, he would be instantly consumed.
